My story on becoming a coach begins in of all places IT.
Pretty much since the first day that I started in IT, I wanted to work in management. I wanted to have a say and help make a difference, and I eventually made it.
About a year after starting, I decided to take a break from alcohol. It wasn't that I was struggling with work, but I started wondering how much more I could do if I removed alcohol from my life, so going alcohol free became my first target.
Going alcohol free was a game changer for me and bit by bit my thinking became clearer. I started to become interested in things I forgot I was even interested in!
I found myself becoming more and more interested in self development and well-being. The more I learned, the more I realised I enjoyed sharing these ideas and helping others.
This lead me studying coaching techniques and now, I help others who are looking to achieve more, realise more of their goals and increase their wellbeing.

When you start to look at what you want in life, other projects sometimes offer themselves up. These are just some of the things that I've become involved in since starting to look more into what I want in life:
Group coaching and videos for Alcohol Free Me
Producing the Andy Ramage Podcast
Creating workshops, retreats and group coaching with Be Mindful Be Well.
Before I started coaching, I would not have thought of doing anything like this. But sometimes one thing leads to another
